At a very low point in my life physically and therefore emotionally, I reached out to a smiling face in the phone book--Dr. Skow.  I presented her with my sorry story in 2006 and she decided to help me.  The progress has been steady and astounding. I can move and go and do like I never thought possible. Even a serious car accident couldn't undo the progress for long. I recommend Dr. Skow to everyone in pain.

After seeking medical solutions for my chronic (2 years) & severe neck, shoulder and arm pain a friend of mine referred me to Dr. Skow. I was desperate for a solution to my pain as I had tried every treatment modality possible over the past 2 years. Dr. Skow worked with me reviewing my life in a holistic manner: food intake, water intake, my sleeping position, appropriate vitamins, exercising, body cleansing, body mechanics, etc. After some intense treatment, my pain has been substantially decreased. I was impressed by Dr. Skow's holistic, determined treatment approach.

This is my "One-stop-shopping" for feeling better inside and out. The entire staff is patient, gracious, and encouraging to a fault. My insurance doesn't cover chiropractic services, but my care trumps the mighty dollar in their eyes and they've made it extremely affordable, without holding back any quality of service. Speaking of quality - Dr. Skow set the standards in quality and each visit brings me a sigh of relief that I'm in good, professional hands - with a wealth of knowledge and wisdom concerning my nutrition, and my body in general, readily at my disposal. They each have very different styles, but both are so skilled and their office is so warm and friendly, that what you're reading is all the advertising they need to keep a full schedule - but call anyway, there's always seems to be room for one more!

I started seeing Dr. Skow when I was pregnant to help ease some pains with pregnancy and now am taking my 5 month old for adjustments. My daughter seemed to have a lot of digestion issues and going to Dr. Skow has made her a different baby. She is so much happier and content. I know I was skeptical at first but both my husband and I are so happy we did as we can see a major difference!

When we moved to DSM a few years ago, I was struggling with a condition that would not go away. After trying the medical route, I searched the phone book and saw this was a place geared towards women and children (though my hubby goes too). Dr. Skow has opened a whole world of wellness for us. She is our main physician-wee see her for everything-it's all my 3 year old knows! I love that we can usually get right in, everyone is so friendly and Dr. Skow focuses on the whole person not just the physical symptoms. I especially love the natural supplements and nutritional advice I receive-we are taking our health into our own hands and we thank Dr. Skow for her guidance! Heartland Chiropractic is our second home; I don't know what we'd do without them!

I sought chiropractic care for significant pain that I was experiencing in my neck and shoulder. Through the recommendation of a co-worker, I began my treatment with Dr. Skow. In only eight sessions with Dr. Skow, not only have I been relieved of the neck and shoulder pain, but I have not experienced a migraine headache in nearly two months. Prior to my treatments, I was experiencing at least two migraine headaches a week. This in itself is a reason enough to see chiropractic treatment. Also, Dr. Skow has me drinking on average 72 ounces of water a day and taking dietary supplements, and I feel great!
