Meet Amy Nichols

My name is Amy Nichols. My husband, Kevin, and I had moved to Ankeny from Omaha, NE in May of 2006. I have a 26-year old son, Brian, and a wonderful daughter-in-law, Bethany. Brian and Bethany are living in Yei, South Sudan where they are working to help the Sudanese people. Though we miss them terribly they are fulfilling a dream and we support them whole heartedly.

As a surrogate we have our dog whose official title is: K&AÂ’s Booner Boy. Boone is a four year old German Shorthair Pointer with endless energy and affection. He and Kevin are best hunting buddies.

After moving to Ankeny and spending some months getting us settled I was fortunate to begin working at HCWC in August of 2006 as Receptionist/Chiropractic Assistant. I have learned so much while working at HCWC! I had my first chiropractic adjustment shortly after starting my role as receptionist. It was quite an experience for me! I began to understand the connection between muscle tightness in my neck and the headaches that I had been getting regularly for years. I was thrilled when their intensity subsided so dramatically after getting regular adjustments.

Though I enjoyed my role as receptionist, I was excited when offered the position of Billing Specialist when it became available last April. I accepted this new challenge and thoroughly enjoy all that this position involves!

We are a great team at HCWC. I feel blessed to be a part of it!
